Wrexham St. David’s Day Window Dressing Competition 2020

For a number of years now, Menter Iaith Fflint a Wrecsam have been organising St. David’s Day Window Dressing Competition on behalf of Wrexham County Borough Council. This competition encourages local businesses to decorate their window on the theme of St. David’s Day with the aim of celebrating all things Welsh.

The competition has gone from strength to strength over the past couple of years, and this year over forty businesses took part and decorated their windows. The competition was judged by Councillor, Rob Walsh, Wrexham Mayor and it was no easy task for him to make his final decision.

The winners of the Wrexham Window Dressing Competition was announced by Cll. Rob Walsh during Wrexham St. David’s Day Celebration in Tŷ Pawb, Wrexham on Sunday, 1st March and the winners are as follows:

1st place: Reid & Roberts Estate Agents, High St.

2nd place:  Wales Air Ambulance, Henblas St.

= joint 3rd place: Apollo Taxis, Unit 1, Apollo House, Charles St

=3rd place: Dynamic Charity Shop, Lord St

=3rd place: Whitegates Estate Agents, King St
