Families, young people, and the community will be able to immerse themselves in the language by joining Baby Massage with Cymraeg i Blant in the Library, Theatre and DJ workshops in Theatr Clwyd\u2019s building, Ffynci Jync Percussion sessions at the Masonic Hall, art and crafts at the Daniel Owen centre and live performances from artists such as Gwilym Bowen Rhys and Morgan Elwy a\u2019r Band.<\/p>\n
Maiwenn Berry, Menter Iaith Fflint a Wrecsam\u2019s Chief Officer emphasised that:\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u2018The festival will showcase the vast opportunities out there for families, children and young people to enjoy and use the Welsh Language socially, but it will also welcome locals who don\u2019t speak Welsh but want to experience and learn more about our language and culture. \u2018<\/p>\n
There\u2019ll be something for everyone and all of the above activities, sessions, workshops and performances during the day will be FREE, keep an eye out on our social media pages and website for more updates and exciting announcements.<\/p>\n
Gwyddgig has received \u00a39393.20 from the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund and is also partly funded and supported by Flintshire Community Chest Fund and Theatr Clwyd.<\/p>\n
