Gwyddgig Festival is back for 2026!

We are extremely pleased to announce that our Welsh language community festival is returning to Mold this year between the 12th-13th of June!
A host of various activities and performances will be held at locations across town, with something for everyone to enjoy and get involved!
New this year, the weekend of celebrations will open on the Friday night with a community gig for all the family at Ysgol Bryn Coch with two extremely talented bands Cordia and Dadleoli, organised with help from Ysgol Maes Garmon pupils as part of ‘Y Sîn ar y Ffin’ project.

A day full of family fun can be expected on Saturday too: from a drop-in craft session with local artist Dwylo Blêr, sensory sessions, games with the Urdd, silent disco, clog dancing sessions and more. Live music will be heard on the Daniel Owen stage and other locations across town from local schools, Côr y Pentan, Osian Powell Jones and popular folk bands Elin a Carys and Lo-Fi Jones.
