
Gwyddgig is back!
Following the outright success last year, GwyddGig, the Welsh community festival for Mold, is returning once again this year. This is the festival which is celebrates Welsh culture and arts with live music, workshops for families and young people, chat sessions for learners and more.
So we extend an invitation to all to join in the hurley burley and on Daniel Owen Square on the 12th of July absolutely free!
All sorts of workshops and activities will be taking place in the adjacent buildings including the Library, the Daniel Owen Centre, the Masonic Hall, and St Mary’s Church Hall (the Pod). This year activities include
- A Magic Show from children’s entertainer Professor Llusern
- Story and Song with Magi Ann
- Arts and Craftrs
- Côr y Pentan
- Silent Disco from the Urdd
- Drumming workshop with Colin Daimond
- Rap workshop with Mr Phormula
And performances on Daniel Owen Square from
- Pupils of Ysgol Glanrafon
- Pupils of Ysgol Maes Garmon
- Osh Gierke
- Ta Waeth
- Megan Lee
- Meinir Gwilym
- Al Lewis
