Hapus i Siarad

The “Hapus i Siarad” project gives learners the opportunity to have a chat in a local small business that are happy to chat. Businesses are a big part of out community and everyday lives so are a great place to start speaking Welsh. This was a joint pilot scheme between The National Centre for Learnig Welsh and Mentrau Iaith and is starting in Rhondda Cynon Taf, Ceredigion, Flintshire and Wrexham. By today this is a national incentive to encourage Welsh learners to use the Cymraeg they have.

Learners will receive cards to collect stamps or signatures from businesses they visit to have a chat. When the card is full (only 3 stamps needed), they will return it to their tutor or send a picture of it to us, and the card will be entered into the raffle to win a voucher for one of the business’ involved in the scheme in the area.

If you are learning welsh and taking part in the project contact us (gwybod@menterfflintwrecsam.cymru) for more information and to receive your card.
