The “Hapus i Siarad” project gives learners the opportunity to have a chat in a local small business that are happy to chat. Businesses are a big part of out community and everyday lives so are a great place to start speaking Welsh. This is a joint pilot scheme between The National Centre for Learnig Welsh and Mentrau Iaith and is starting in Rhondda Cynon Taf, Ceredigion, Flintshire and Wrexham.
Between the 15th January and 30th June 2024 learners will receive cards to collect stamps or signatures from businesses they visit to have a chat. When the card is full (only 3 stamps needed), they will return it to their tutor or send a picture of it to us, and the card will be entered into the raffle to win a voucher for one of the business’ involved in the scheme in the area.
If you are learning welsh and taking part in the project contact us (gwybod@menterfflintwrecsam.cymru) for more information and to receive your card.
